LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- Hundreds of people are fighting to keep New Albany High School's band director. A petition on Change.org already has more than 700 signatures.
Band boosters write they are deeply concerned that New Albany High School is in the process of dismissing Aaron Lambert. They say Lambert has been a mentor to students and should be honored for his years of service instead of being let go.
Neither the board nor the New Albany-Floyd County School Corporation would talk to WDRB, saying they can't comment on personnel issues. Lambert has not returned our calls for comment.
