LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Campbell's plans to close its snacks manufacturing facility in Jeffersonville, Indiana, a move that will affect more than 100 employees and end production at the plant by early next year.

According to company officials, the facility on Spring Street currently employs 111 workers. Campbell's said the closure is part of efforts to optimize its manufacturing network.

The company plans to begin layoffs in phases. Roughly half of the workforce is expected to be laid off in August, with most of the remaining employees leaving in September.

The Jeffersonville plant will continue winding down operations before officially closing on Jan. 31, 2027.

The facility currently produces snack chips as part of Campbell's snacks division.

The closure marks another change for the longtime manufacturing site, which has operated in Jeffersonville for decades under various ownerships and product lines.
