LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Police need your helping finding a missing elderly woman from Breckinridge County, Kentucky.

The Breckinridge County Sheriff's Office said it's still searching different locations for 64-year-old Evelyn Blake.

Blake was last seen July 21 in the 400 block of Old Railroad Road in the McQuady area, which is southeast of Hardinsburg.

The Breckinridge County Sheriff said in a Facebook post Wednesday that they are aware of a phone conversation where Blake said she was OK and didn’t sound to be in distress. But, police said they will continue to look for her until an officer makes contact with her.

Many Breckinridge County residents expressed frustration to WDRB as Breckinridge County Emergency Management ended its search of Blake after two days. Eric Vertrees, Breckinridge County EMA director, told WDRB the search ended after two days of intense searching on the ground with drones and personnel from five counties taking part.Ā

Police have also been using K9s in the search, but Vertrees said there are no signs of Blake so far. He said the ground search was halted because there's nowhere else to look, but efforts to find her have not stopped.Ā

He also said they believe Blake is still alive, based on the last time they spoke with her in person on the phone, as well as various pings from her cell phone.Ā
