LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Families spending the holidays at Norton Children's Hospital can still experience the joys of gift-giving.

Families with children in the hospital may not have time to step away from their child's bedside to go shopping.

Thanks to a charitable donation from BJ's Wholesale Club, a pop-up store was brought to them.

BJ's sponsored a "Snowflake Shop" with gifts for all kids from infants to teens. The gifts at the shop are all donations from the community.

"It gives an opportunity for families to come down and experience the normalcy of the holidays, bring a little bit of normalcy when they're in such a really difficult time but it also allows them to step away from the bedside and do something really fun for their kids," said Lena Iwu, a development manager with the Norton Children's Hospital Foundation.

A team is also taking a mobile sled of presents around for families who are unable to leave their rooms.
