LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A biopic shot in Louisville called Queen of the Ring is set to also premiere Tuesday.
As the name entails, it is a biopic about a female pro-wrestler in a time period when women were not allowed to participate in the sport. It's based on the true story of Mildred Burke, a small-town single mom who pioneered female professional wrestling.
The original world premiere sold out. There is now an additional screening.
Both are at AMC Stonybrook. Tickets are still available for the 6:30 p.m. time slot. After the movie. there will be a Q&A with cast and crew members.
It hits theaters nationwide March 7.
