LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A heads up for drivers about an overnight ramp closure in southern Indiana.
Starting at 10 p.m. Thursday, the ramp from Interstate 64 East to Interstate 265 East in New Albany will close.
Officials with the Sherman Minton Renewal Project said the closure will allow crews to make shoulder repairs. The ramp is expected to reopen by 6 a.m. Friday.
Drivers will have to stay on I-64 and take the exit onto West 5th Street in New Albany just before the Sherman Minton Bridge, then follow the detour to get back onto I-64 going west to get to I-265.
Weather could impact the closure.
