LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A reconstruction project near Louisville's Butchertown neighborhood will begin next week.
Work is set to begin on Monday, March 3 around the intersection of Main Street and Story Avenue. The work is expected to be completed by June 27.Â
The reconfiguration project will remove the center divider island and convert the intersection with a curb bump outs and pedestrian crosswalks. The goal is to enhance traffic flow and safety.Â
The city warns people to be cautious of potential changes in traffic patterns and pedestrian access. Allow for extra time during your commute.Â
