LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Louisville police are searching for a suspect accused of shooting a man Tuesday morning.
Officers were called to UofL Hospital just after 5:30 a.m. on a report that a man was brought to the hospital with a gunshot wound, according to officer Adam Sears, a spokesperson for the Louisville Metro Police Department.
Sears said the victim was "involved in a road rage incident during which he was shot by an individual in another vehicle." It reportedly happened in the area of the Interstate 64 West and Interstate 65 South split, Sears said.
The victim's injuries were not thought to be life-threatening, according to police.
LMPD's Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is handling the investigation, but has no known suspects or vehicle descriptions.Â
