LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- Hotel guests at the Galt House can take their room with a view to new heights.
The hotel debuted its new Rooftop Garden and Terrace.
It's one of the final stages of the $70 million renovation for the hotel.
The rooftop gives breathtaking views of the waterfront and downtown Louisville from 16 stories up.
The terrace space will be open for indoor and outdoor events, so you can decide which space to use.
"It's spectacular. Plus, I like this because we have the shaded area as well as the sunny area, so it gives you a little bit of both to work with," says Galt House CEO & President Mary Moseley.
Officials hope to start work on the garden part of the terrace this fall to have it in full bloom this spring.
