Slayer, Avenged Sevenfold and Marilyn Manson headline 2025 Louder Than Life music festival in Louisville

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Slayer, Avenged Sevenfold, Deftones and Bring Me The Horizon will headline the2025 Louder Than Life, the 11th iteration of one of America's largest rock music festivals in Louisville.

The four-day festival will bring many of rock music's best acts together in one place. Marilyn Manson, Breaking Benjamin, Evanescence, Rob Zombie, Sleep Token and Lamb of God are among the other big acts that will rock the crowd in Louisville.

"Louder Than Life has always been about showcasing the future of rock and heavy music while honoring the legends who paved the way. Bands like Bring Me The Horizon, Sleep Token, Bad Omens, $uicideboy$, Motionless In White, Spiritbox, I Prevail, Slaughter To Prevail, Lorna Shore, Wage War, Dayseeker, and Knocked Loose aren’t just performing—they’re defining the next generation of headliners," Danny Wimmer of Danny Wimmer Presents said in a news release Wednesday. "At the same time, pioneers like Slayer, Deftones, A Perfect Circle, and Avenged Sevenfold have set the standard, proving that this music is always evolving. This is where the past, present, and future of heavy music collide."

One of the country's premier rock festivals, Louder Than Life will be held Sept. 18-21. It brought in 150,000 fans in 2024 to celebrate the festival's 10th anniversary. It will follow Bourbon & Beyond, which will be headlined by Noah Kahan, Phish, Foreigner and more Sept. 11-14.

Slayer was already announced as a headliner after its 2024 performance was canceled by inclement weather.

Presales have already started for Louder Than Life fans, who will also have to pay a little more for the 2025 edition of the festival. The public early bird presale went live in November. A four-day general admission pass will cost $361 after fees. A four-day VIP ticket will be $803 after fees. Angel's Envy Top Shelf VIP tickets, which are selling for $2,237, include:
