LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louder Than Life is set to return to Louisville in 2025 headlined by Slayer after the effects of Hurricane Helene canceled their set this year.

"We can't wait to welcome fans back to finish what we started this year and celebrate the return of Slayer," said Danny Wimmer of Danny Wimmer Presents in a news release Wednesday. "Our team is hard at work finalizing an incredible lineup that we can't wait to reveal this winter. It's going to be epic, and we can't wait to see everyone back in Louisville next September."

There were 150,000 fans at Louder Than Life in 2024 to celebrate the 10th anniversary.

There will also be benefits for those who had their Friday tickets canceled due to the effects of Hurricane Helene.

Single-day Friday pass holders can get a full refund or roll the credit over to 2025 passes. Weekend pass holders can receive a 25% refund or credit for 2025 passes.

There will be emails sent out to those affected with more details.

Louder Than Life 2025 will take place on Sept. 18-21 at the Highland Festival Grounds. Early bird passes go on sale in November and the rest of the festival lineup will be announced in the winter.
