LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Hackers disrupted gamers for three days, but Sony's Playstation Network is finally back up and running.
The blackout happened on Christmas Day when a group of hackers who call themselves "Lizard Squad" allegedly blocked access for an estimated 160 million users of Xbox Live and PlayStation Network.
One man claiming to be a member says they did it partly to amuse themselves, but also to expose the vulnerability of both security systems.
Microsoft's Xbox Live service went back online Friday, but the company is still reporting problems -- and Sony says heavy traffic might continue to cause problems.
