LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Covered Bridge Golf Club in Sellersburg, Indiana, celebrated 30 years in business Friday.

The club was designed and founded by Fuzzy Zoeller, Indiana's most accomplished professional golfer, who won two major championships.

The course is a par-72 championship course with a full-service restaurant and event venue.

Business leaders said Covered Bridge is a key to southern Indiana's economic growth.

"Communities that offer these amenities such as golf courses just kind of helps with the recruitment of business, the retention of business, industry, all that, because people want to live in a place that has the amenities that they can come and enjoy on a regular basis," said Lance Allison, president and CEO of One Southern Indiana.

Golf hours at Covered Bridge run 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. every day.
