LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville Metro Council member is applauding a citizen for helping to stop the first case of illegal dumping this year.
The citizen took a picture of the man dumping debris in the 4400 block of Bardstown Road, near Fegenbush Lane.
Officials later found the man, and after he admitted to dumping the items, they impounded his car. He will now have to pay a $500 citation on top of $250 for impound and storage fees.
