LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Taylorsville-Spencer County Fire is getting a new fire truck.
This week, fire officials said they went to Sutphen Corporation in Ohio for the pre-construction meeting on the new engine. It said planning started in February 2020, and the board awarded the contract to Sutphen Corporation in December.
The department said the engine is expected to be finished in January 2022.
The new engine will replace a 31-year-old engine.
