LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Athletes taking part in this year's Kentucky Derby Festival miniMarathon, Marathon and Relay have an opportunity to train for the big day.
Runners and walkers can take part in a free 15-week Norton Sports Health Training Program. A kick-off event is happening next Thursday, Jan. 11 from 5:30-8 p.m. at the Kentucky Derby Museum.
The program offers training tips, weekly group runs, access to medical and nutritional experts, physical therapists, shoe experts and race ambassadors.

The GE Appliances miniMarathon, Marathon and Relay are all set for Saturday, April 27.
