LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A popular winery in Henry County, Kentucky, has been sold.
Chuck Smith, the owner of Smith Berry Winery in New Castle, said in a Facebook post Thursday that he'd sold the business.
Smith sold his first bottles in 2002.Â
"Leaving the business I have built from scratch on my beautiful Henry County farm is truly bittersweet, but it's time I slow down and enjoy other things life has to offer," he said.
It's unclear who bought the winery.
Smith Berry Winery will remain open and selling wine until the end of next May.
