LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Spencer County residents now have a new place to get care quickly.
UofL Health cut the ribbon Wednesday on its new Urgent Care Plus location in Taylorsville. It will house primary care doctors, exam rooms, a lab and x-ray room. Patients can get routine exams there as well as care for minor injuries and illnesses.
The urgent care center at 847 Taylorsville Road is open seven days a week.
UofL Health said the new location is vital for what's been a "medically underserved" area.
