LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police said a Spencer County teen that went missing on Wednesday was found on Thursday afternoon.
The Spencer County Sheriff said 15-year-old Chloe Chesser was found at a local restaurant about 3 p.m. and was unharmed.
Sheriff Scott Herndon said she told authorities she had been staying with family and had not told anyone, but he said his office is still investigating.
Chesser had last been seen walking behind the Spencer County High School in Taylorsville, as students were dismissed Wednesday afternoon.
Chloe is the daughter of Nathan Chesser, who was recently arrested and accused of choking, kicking and biting a 14-year-old girl.
Herndon said they have talked to Nathan Chesser, who is now out of jail, but he was not connected to the girl's disappearance.
