LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- An Indiana State Police trooper ended his years of service with a final call, and the emotional farewell was caught on camera.
Master Trooper Randy Renbarger retired on Friday after 38 years on the force. His daughter posted a video of his final call on Facebook.
"This will be my final radio call," he says in the video. "It's been a privilege to wear the Indiana State Police uniform."
"I am Randy Renbarger, and I am 10-42, end of watch."
In the video, several officers thank Renbarger for all he has done, including a familiar voice: his own son, who became a state trooper in 2007.
Renbarger began his career at the Seymour Indiana State Police post. He finished it up in Peru.
