LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A video of a man wielding a gun on the roof of a home is gaining traction on social media and raising some concerns across Louisville.
The video, shared with WDRB News, shows a man on the roof of a building in Old Louisville holding what appears to be a shotgun around 4:40 p.m. Wednesday at 3rd and Oak streets.
The man doesn't fire the weapon in the video but does appear to point it toward the street. People who live in the area said shots were fired, which caused concern.
A Louisville Metro Police spokesperson said officers went to the area but didn't locate the man. Police said the man may have fired his gun into the air, but nobody was hurt and that while it is scary, the man was not an active aggressor.
LMPD does not know the identity of the man in the video.
