LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- It's part of the continuing transformation of Louisville's Fourth Street. That's as the Volunteers of America gain more visibility for their cause.
The VOA is moving into its new headquarters in the Guthrie Coke Building at Fourth and Chestnut. The organization will have more space for meetings, training, and other functions.
The new location is also meant to make the VOA more visible, as its President and CEO Jane Burks explains:Â Â "We think it's important for Volunteers of America to have an important headquarters here in this community, so I hope you will agree with us that this is the place that an organization like that should be."
The VOA serves more than 20,000 people each year in Kentucky, Indiana, Tennessee, and West Virginia.
