LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Verizon has fixed a problem that caused some WDRB subscribers to get duplicate text alerts Thursday morning.

The issue was with a cell phone tower and impacted some customers within the (812) area code.

Our engineers worked with Verizon to resolve the issue.

WDRB has served the community with text alerts for the past seven years, and we apologize for any inconvenience.
