LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The winner of the 150th Kentucky Derby and Oaks said Monday he's back and hoping for a repeat this year.

Brian Hernandez Jr. will be the jockey for Burnham Square in the Derby and Take Charge Milady in the Oaks.

He said Monday that Burnham Square likes to take his time at the beginning and then comes on strong towards the end.

Above all, Hernandez said, there's nothing quite like riding a horse in the Derby.

"It's an adrenaline rush," he said. "It's really hard to describe. I guess it's like jumping out of a plane with a parachute. But once you do it once and you win that first race ... it's the best thing in the world. You wanna keep doing it. That's what keeps all jockeys going is that you wanna win and you wanna see horses succeed."

In total, Hernandez said he will ride 10 horses on Derby day.
