On Sunday, iconic actor and director Rob Reiner and his wife Michelle were stabbed to death in their home. It was a tragedy. But President Donald Trump made some disgusting, unnecessary and highly inappropriate remarks when he tried to make the murders about himself.
Trump ran for president on the platform of Make America Great Again, but is having no manners, no respect and needlessly insulting a dead man a path for greatness?
Here's what our viewers had to say:
"I'm a Trump supporter and I voted for him twice, but the comment he made against Rob Reiner — that shows no class at all."
"It was sorry what happened to that couple. But, you know what? He hasn't been exactly nice about the things that he said about the president."
"I don't know when people are going to understand the only one Donald Trump looks out for is Donald Trump."
"I'm sure what President Trump said was in poor taste. But put yourself in his shoes. How would you feel if every time you turned around the other party was slamming you and taking you into court and everything?"
"If you look at it, his character, his morals, his values are all shot. It's sad. But his voters like that. That's the very sad part."
"What the president came on and said was unnecessary and wasn't human-like. It's sad."
"While I do not think that what Donald Trump said needed to be published, I mean, it's sickening what Rob Reiner says about Donald Trump. If you're going to put it on one side, put it on both sides."
"He has no couth. He never has. And I don't see how this country can have respect for him when he shows no respect for anyone else."
"President Trump talks like a fifth-grader playground potty mouth."
