Officers with the LMPD's Sixth Division responded to a reported shooting just before 7:30 p.m. at Preston Highway and Grade Lane.
The teen was shot around 11 p.m. Sunday on Montana Avenue, which is near the university and Churchill Downs, in Louisville's Taylor Berry neighborhood.
