Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kentuckiana was recently honored with the Gold Standard Award, given to agencies that improve revenue and provide high-quality programming for children.
In total, Mike's Carwash raised more than $87,000 the company said in a news release.
The children spent the afternoon at the Mellwood Art Center playing games, making crafts and hanging out with Santa.
The program is two meetings a month for a minimum of two hours.
