In Dec. 2023, JCPS sent a letter to families that said the only transportation it can guarantee for the 2024-25 school year is for "special education students and students attending their resides school."
Routes are being cancelled and delayed, and parents are frustrated by transportation issues.
The superintendent said some students will be getting to school late because of delayed buses, so changing the start times should help.
