A civil lawsuit filed in August of 2024 accused Jamey Noel of taking money and property from his late brother's children.

The requests were filed last month after Special Judge Larry Medlock accused Noel of providing false testimony at a recent change of plea hearing.

Noel, the estranged wife of former Clark County Sheriff Jamey Noel, pleaded guilty July 3 to five counts of theft and five counts of tax evasion.

Last week, Misty Noel pleaded guilty Thursday to five counts of theft and five counts of tax evasion, the original charges filed against her.

Former Clark County Councilwoman Brittney Ferree is expected to plead guilty in court Friday in connection with the investigation into former Clark County Sheriff Jamey Noel.

Both trials, while separate, are scheduled for the same day, Oct. 28.
