Mac Lewis was convicted last month of killing his wife inside their Sellersburg home in April 2022. 

Mac Lewis was accused of killing his wife, Elizabeth Bennett Lewis, in front of her daughter. A jury returned a guilty verdict on Tuesday afternoon.

Police said the child was distraught and her hands were covered with her mother's blood at a crime scene in southern Indiana.

Weeks after several bodies were discovered at a southern Indiana funeral home, the business owner appeared in court for the first time. 

It's part of an investigation into the Lankford Funeral Home and Family Center in Jeffersonville, Indiana.
