Louisville Metro Police officers responded around noon to the 3600 block of Garland Avenue to find a man inside a home in the area suffering from a gunshot wound.

Police said the shooting stemmed from an argument over a box of chicken.

A man is dead after he was stabbed in the Shawnee neighborhood.

Their injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.

It happened just before 1 a.m. near 9th and Jefferson.
