David Sparks pleaded guilty in Dec. 2020 to killing the Kentucky mom.  

Sparks pleaded guilty earlier this month.

David Sparks will be formally sentenced in Gerrard County on Dec. 17. 

Spurlock's family says she was robbed of the life she had dreamed of by David Sparks.

Savannah Spurlock, a mother of four, disappeared in January after leaving a Lexington bar with three men she met that night. Her remains were found buried in the backyard of a Garrard County home July 10.

The 22-year-old went missing on Jan. 4 after a night out at The Other Bar in Lexington.
