Rory McGrath, 10, and Eli Taylor, 14, threw out the first pitch before UofL baseball's Friday and Saturday games at the Shriners Children's College Showdown in Arlington, Texas.

The walk, which is 3,210 steps, honors the third copy of the 21st chromosome that causes down syndrome.

 Zoe has Down syndrome and mismatched socks are used as a way to bring awareness that not everyone needs to match to be friends.

Every year in the U.S., one out of every 700 babies born has Down syndrome.
