After two years without a library, Middletown officially has a new place to check out books.
Louisville Free Public Library announced on Friday that the new location's grand opening would be held Nov. 15.
This comes after more than a year of effort and debate to keep the library open amid Louisville Metro budget issues.
The popular Middletown Branch could close again by next summer.
"I'm just asking the mayor, very simply, do your job," Metro Councilman Anthony Piagentini said.
