Officers believe the man was traveling at a high rate of speed when he lost control and was ejected from the bike.
Benjamin Schildknecht, 40, was driving a stolen Toyota pickup truck when he ran a stop sign and crashed into an on-duty officer in an unmarked Chevy Malibu.
According to LMPD spokesman Aaron Ellis, the crash happened just after 7:00 p.m. on Seventh Street Road at Wurtele Avenue.
Scott Drollinger, 38, was traveling west on Northwestern Parkway when he lost control and ran off the road.
Police said at least one vehicle was traveling at 119 mph when it hit the victims' vehicle.
Investigation revealed the man was traveling southbound of Blue Lick Road at a high rate of speed where he lost control and hit a minivan.
The man was identified as 42-year-old Michael Mooreland, according to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office.
