LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man is in critical condition after crashing his motorcycle Tuesday night near Valley Station.
LMPD spokesman Matthew Sanders said officers responded to the injury accident just before 11 p.m. on the Greenbelt Highway near Lower River Road.
Officers believe the man was traveling at a high rate of speed when he lost control and was ejected from the bike.
The man received a "significant head injury," according to Sanders, and was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
LMPD's Traffic Unit is investigating the incident.
