The Planning Commission of Hardin County met Tuesday night to discuss a map amendment and conditional use permit for Hardin Solar LLC. 

The project has encountered some protests from neighbors, with some claiming a solar farm would have a negative effect on property values and taxes. 

Neighbors fear the sloped panels could create water runoff and flooding in the area — along with being an eyesore.
