A man was shot and killed Wednesday inside an apartment in Jeffersontown.
Police said one vehicle on Embassy Square Boulevard was turning on Bunsen Parkway when it was hit by another vehicle traveling westbound.
The Kentucky State Police Critical Incident Response Team is still investigating.
Eddie Craven, known locally as "Meatball," died Jan. 15 after a battle with colon cancer.
Two people were shot inside the home.
It's part of the Jeffersontown Police Department's REACH Unit, which works to reduce the number of fatal and nonfatal opioid overdoses in the city.
Jeffersontown's new amphitheater was broken into and vandalized twice this week.
The investigation into the shooting remains ongoing. At last check, there had been no arrests.
Police said the two people were sitting in a car in the parking lot of an apartment complex when another car drove up and fired shots into the vehicle.
