The Bartholomew County Coroner’s Office said Emma Sweet died from “complications of hypothermia and asphyxia due to drowning,” and her death was ruled a homicide.

Authorities released new information Saturday in the search for a 2-year-old girl who was reported missing shortly before her father's truck was found submerged in a southern Indiana river early Friday morning.
