A woman wanted in connection with an ongoing animal cruelty investigation turned herself in to authorities Wednesday.

A man was arrested for allegedly swinging a dog by its leash and throwing it against a dumpster in Shepherdsville last week.

Tiffany Arnold is accused of abandoning 24 cats inside an empty house in the 7300 block of Leisure Court earlier this year.
