According to court records, 25-year-old Tyler Walters was stopped by an Elizabethtown police officer at 3:39 p.m.

Shively Police Sgt. Jordan Brown confirmed Wednesday that the woman who was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries had died as a result of the collision.

The officers inside the vehicle were taken to the hospital for a broken nose, concussion, and bruising.
