Kentucky’s death toll from last month’s deadly winter storm has risen to 22. 

A 75-year-old woman in Adair County died, bringing the total number of fatalities to 16.

NWS teams will be surveying in Laurel County Sunday and Monday to determine the strength of storms that hit that area. 

The flooding and cold temperatures that followed last week are now responsible for 22 deaths in Kentucky.

Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear said the death toll from the weekend's torrential rainfall reached 12.
