Kentucky’s death toll from last month’s deadly winter storm has risen to 22. 

A 75-year-old woman in Adair County died, bringing the total number of fatalities to 16.

There have now been 15 weather-related deaths confirmed in Kentucky due to the winter storm.

Beshear said the Kentucky National Guard is now transitioning from life-saving missions to recovery efforts across the state. 

Six Kentuckians died due to the winter storm that swept through the Commonwealth.
