It happened around 2 a.m. in the 2700 block of Greenwood Avenue. 

Louisville Metro Police are investigating after a man was shot near the Highlands early Sunday morning.

LMPD's Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is investigating.

Police found a man with multiple gunshot wounds.

Police believe the shooting was the result of a fight at a large party that was going on in the area. 

According to LMPD spokesman Dwight Mitchell, officers were called to the 2800 block on Triplett Woods Court just before 3 a.m.
