LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man was found shot and killed in a crashed vehicle on Interstate 71 south.
It happened around 2:10 a.m. Sunday near Lime Kiln Lane.
John Bradley, a spokesman for Louisville Metro Police, said officers responded to a report of a crash. That's where they found a man with a gunshot wound inside the wrecked vehicle. Anchorage/Middletown EMS responded and pronounced the man dead.
I-71 south was shut down for a few hours but has since reopened.
The victim was identified by the Jefferson County Coroner's Office Sunday as 50-year-old Craig Wills.
Police say there is no suspect information.
