LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A property near Jefferson Mall has a new owner after selling for more than $10 million.
The building at 4805 Outer Loop, home to Bob's Discount Furniture and Mattress Store, sold for $10.3 million last month, according to our partners at Louisville Business First.
It was built in 1984 and was previously a Toys "R" Us store before it closed in 2018.
San Diego-based Realty Income Corp. purchased the property from Onyx Partners Ltd., a Massachusetts-based real estate company.
What's next for the property is still unclear. Realty Income did not respond to Business First's request for comment about its plans.
Realty Income owns more than 15,500 properties across the U.S., the United Kingdom and Europe. Its portfolio includes 454 properties in Kentucky, according to the company's website.
