LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Scott County sheriff's deputy was hurt in a serious crash while chasing what the department said was a reckless motorcyclist.
The Scott County Indiana Sheriff's Department said the crash happened at 9:13 p.m. Saturday on Lovers Lane.
The department said in a Facebook post the deputy was airlifted to UofL Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The deputy's identity won' be released until the family has been notified.
The sheriff's department said the motorcyclist didn't stop after the deputy crashed.
