LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man was hospitalized after being shot in a south Louisville neighborhood Friday morning.
LMPD spokesman John Bradley said officers responded to the 7800 block of Joyce Drive a little past 5 a.m. on reports of a person shot. That's right off Outer Loop in between Shepherdsville Road and Smyrna Parkway.
Officers found a man with a gunshot wound. He was taken to UofL Hospital and is expected to survive.
LMPD's Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is investigating, as detectives work to learn what led up to the shooting and what a possible motive could be.
