A 28-year-old Louisville man is now charged with murder in connection to a homicide near Petersburg Park earlier this week, according to Louisville Metro Police.

Mikal T. Ballard, 27, was arrested on Tuesday and charged with murder, assault and burglary.

Alonzo Thomas is charged with the murder of Thaddeus Miller after they got into a fight in a parking lot on West Chestnut Street.
