The plan, announced in September, is to use TARC drivers to drive the JCPS buses.

The district said nothing is official until the board approves a plan.

The board is expected to vote March 26 on whether to cut transportation to traditional and magnet programs, which will impact more than 14,000 students. 

The Jefferson County Board of Education is scheduled to meet on Tuesday, March 26, and vote on a plan that would cut back transportation for students who choose to attend magnet or traditional schools and magnet programs.
